This is my 2006 SMR 450.  I bought it in Sept. of 07 with 1800 miles on it.  I was hesitant to trust an Italian bike, but it has proven itself to be better than comparable Japanese bikes.  I ride it really hard as you can see in the pics.  It currently has over 7000 miles and I have only had to adjust the valves once.

I also built some custom spacers for the rear wheel to convert it to dirt trim.  I used an extra set of Honda wheels and spun the spacers on a lathe using 6061 aluminum.  For the front end, I also used a Honda wheel, forks, triples, brakes, etc.  from a 2003 CR125.  All I had to was add an additional washer to the top of the head tube so the spanner nut would not bottom out.
